That's why each year the the UFCW International Union awards several scholarships of up to $8,000 each to UFCW members or their unmarried dependents. | The UFCW International Union has administered the immensely popular James A. Suffridge Scholarship Fund for more that 45 years. Through this program they have been able to recognize bright, young UFCW members and their dependants. For the 2010 awards they will continue to accept online applications from any student who has graduated from high school, will be graduating in the spring of 2010, or has received their GED. Again this year, the application will be available from January 15, through April 15, 2010, and the International Union will proudly award at least fourteen scholarships this year worth up to $8,000 each! | ||
